Dojo breeding behavior?

Ok, information on weather loaches seems to be kind of sparse, so I'll ask the experts here.

I recently purchased a second dojo to be a companion for my large dojo "Mighty Dojo". For the first couple of days they'd hang out together all the time, always within sight of each other. Quite the barbel-faced couple.

A couple of nights ago I caught them doing something I've never seen: one dojo was wrapped all the way around the other! This lasted only a few seconds, then they parted ways to opposite sides of the tank. The light was off, so I couldn't tell if there were eggs deposited, dropped, or whatever it is dojos do... this has happened once again since, also with the light
