"Painting" The Tank

This *may* be non-Loach related.

If you had a 30 gal tank, and you could only populate it with 2 - 3 species, what would you use?

I've got a 30 high in our bedroom. I really like the look of the 3 Flagtailed Porthole Cats I have in there. I have a large "vertical rock" in the tank (about 20" high -- Sandstone? From the base, it narrows to nearly a point at the top). It's thickly covered with Java Moss. The Flagtails are usually always out in the open because they love to root around in the Java Moss. Their tailfins are just like the Corydoras Robinae, with bright black and white stripes. Striking!
