This may sound a stupid question to some of you,but do weather loaches play dead?
when I first changed the tank water my daughters loach (Mr Hanky) looked dead, we give it a poke and it just floated around the bottom of the tank lifeless,My hubby took it to the bathroom for a trip through the loo system,no sooner than he started to pour away the water the little bugger did a mad jig (lucky for him) and was put back into the tank.
He has done this act for a year now on and off.
Also My daughter other goldfish 5 of them all died but Mr Hanky survived is it possible he contaminated the other fish.
I thought it was lack of oxygen that may have killed all the fish, but there is a filter/pump fitted.
They didn't show any disease either.
Oh well, just thought I'd put in a post.
