Loaches and Salt

Hello All

I am still determined to keep my 2 yo-yo-loaches with a puffer fish. So far the choices are Asell's Puffer or Spotted Congo Puffer. They are both fairly small (10cm) and fresh water species. But if I could introduce some salt into the tank, I could get a green spotted puffer. One of them only lives in light brackish conditions. I'd have to add 1 Teaspoon per 5 gallon of salt. Now this is what a lot of people add as a preventative medicine anyway. How do loaches cope with salt ?

Greetings
Sabine
