black spots on golden dojo (long)

Hi all,

I have an approximately 3" golden dojo. I noticed a small black "spot" on the left side of it a while back. I just thought it was a marking on the fish. Now it appears to be bigger and another similar is appearing closer to the head of the loach.

This one looks like it's "under" the skin, the other is "on" the skin. Any ideas? No other fish in the tank have these, although my angels are "twitching" occasionally. I am searching for any information on that too. I don't know if the two are related. The angels are spawning, so it could just be slight posturing - not sure yet.

Any advice would be welcome.
