Help! white spot on clown

Well.... My plec died. He was unable to recover from his wound. It looks as though it either became wildly infected, or he suffered from a rapid fungal attack.

I have been changing about 5 us gallons of the water per day for the last 3 days and addeding some Melafix but there are some things that are alarming me.

What I am concerned about now, my gourami is periodically rubbing his side agains the plants and zipping away. I have checked him for any visible signs of fungus or ick and he looks ok. His gills arent inflamed and he is breathing normally, he just seems to have an ichy side.

Also, one of my little loaches has a small pale blotch on his snout that I cant
