Hillstream loach genus?

A few days ago, I posted that I didn't think there were any hillstream loaches in Korea, but in a book I recently started translating I found a group of fish that may be hillstreams.

The genus name is Gobiobotia. They have barbels, horseshoe shaped mouths, and a slightly flattened appearance (but nowhere near as flattened as the hillstreams in the loach index).
I have been to the fishbase website, but except for confirming that these are in no way related to gobies, it wasn't very helpful. If anyone has any info on this genus--I would appreciate it very much.
