black spots on golden dojo, PLEASE HELP!!!! WORRIE

I have one, he's about a year old (to my tank, that is). He's fatter than a mcdonald's straw, lol and about 4+ inches long. Fat little bugger. BUT - he/she got a black spot about 3 months ago 3/4 back from head to tail. I just thought it was a marking I had not noticed before. But I have been desperately searching for something on them because it grew. Now it looks like someone "scuffed" h
