Flourite, Plants, and Weather Loaches

Well while I'm here I have a question for you,

I'm getting some flourite soon since I'm going to try plants again. Is there any particular plant you think would complement a Weather Loach well? He seems to like hanging out in the leaves of the plastic plants, so perhaps something leafy? Hmmmm, that is just about anyting, isn't it? .......

Anyway, he doesn't seem to be able to tell the weather very well. He never goes ballistic, even though recently we had a massive weather change.
