aggressive botia

We have had our blue botia for about a year. When he was spending most of his time in his castle his aggression was tolerable. As he has grown and spends more time with the other fish his aggression, which has increased, has become a real problem. We think he has been responsible for most of the deaths and he must be stressing the other fish. The last 6 months he has been particularly harrassing our tinfoil barb, though he will target any and all. Would adding another botia chill him out? We are thinking about sending him back to the store. Any suggestions?
