Our oceans are at risk. Fishing nets strangle, drown, and crush tens of thousands of dolphins, sea turtles, and sharks. 44 billion pounds of fish are discarded annually around the world.

But you can help by visiting Oceana at http://www.oceana.org and send an e-mail asking officials to enforce the laws put in place to protect aquatic life.

Oceana is a new non-profit, international advocacy organization created with the sole purpose of protecting the world's oceans to sustain the circle of life.
