Weird Bala shark behavior! spooking the clowns

Ok... So 2 of my bala sharks are doing something I have never really seen except when other fish mate...

Two bala's are staying side by side as the swim around the tank.. sort of pushing and nuzzling each other. They attack any other bala's that come near them and then go back to rubbing each other and carasseing. I've even seen them almost arching (as best that bala's can).

Are these guys breeding? Fighting? Anyone have a suggestion? My clowns have all gone washed out while they do this. When they stop, the clowns darken up again.

Its really odd, and I will try to get some pictures of this. I can't see
