Planning the new tank

I've started laying out plans for the 135 Gallon tank. I won't be buying this for a while, but I need to get the mechanical design figured out (pumps, Filtration, Heating etc). This will be a crowded tank, and in turn I need to build a system capable of handling the extra bioload.

In turn, I think that a "sumped" system will be best. The added volume of water will ease my mind a bit on certain issues and will allow for a more flexible filtration system.

Now here is the tricky bit, I'm building it myself (as I always seem to do) and I have never designed something like this. I was planning on using a 45-55 US gallon tank as the sump tank itself, filled approximately 70%. The Main tank
