Might be Losing a Loach :-(

It looks like one of my loaches is sucumbing to a previous injury. "Motley" lost a fight with an angelfish before I aquired him and had a horendous injury. His injuries had healed up, but now it looks like he isn't doing well at all.

Along his back on his left side it appears to have "caved in". His other side is fine, just as plump as always, its just this upper portion of his back. It doesnt look like wasting, as I have only seen this in the bellies or lower portion of the fish.

Is there anything I can do to help him or should I let nature take its course? He's looking weak but is still eating. He's been fine for a few months so this is a little disheartening, b
