I got home tonight and Momfish told me that she had smelt an "odd" smell coming from our River-Tank, so investigated.

One of my Beaufortias (I think), which I've had for nearly 3 years had died a while ago and was very decomposed. She removed it and on closer inspection I found the precious yellow fish dead too. He had been out stuck right on the front for a few days, hardly moving and I suspected something might be wrong with him.

Anyway, all the other fish look OK, so I've just done a 60% water-change. I doubt that it's anything other than the decomposing fish having polluted the water, because there have been no new introductions for ages, so introduced disease
