Baby Clown Loach?

I know this may sound crazy, because they say clown loaches rarely breed in captivity, but I have a new baby in my tank that I don't know what it is. Does anyone know what a newborn clown looks like?

The reason I suspect it might be a clown is that this newborn has vertical stripes (from what the naked eye can determine), and its body is longer that my other vertically-striped fish, which are tiger barbs. Also, one of my clowns has been pretty much hiding and not eating for the last week or so. Once in awhile it would come out and swim for a very short time, just before lights out, then it would be back in its cave.

The puzzling thing is that the newborn is a grey color, which had me ruling out clown loach altogether, but then my wife pointed out that it had vertical stripes.
