Puffed up fish *OT*

As mentioned in the replies of "puffed up loach".. I have a synodontis eupterus catfish that is looks REALLY puffed up in the stomach. He seems VERY happy, but I swear it he don't look too healthy. He really does look like he just ate another fish, but all the fish in my tank is still there.. also as mentioned in "puffed up loach", the issue of the fish ate a piece of gravel.. the size of gravel in my tank are too large to fit inside the mouth of the catfish.

I'm really considering isolating him in a different tank and give him a diet. (slowly reduce the amount of food given) for a period of time to see if it can get him back in shape.

So what do you guys think of this? any thoughts?

I'm also going to inquire this to my LFS to see what they think.

thanks
