Lonely Loach?

I am new to aquariums. I have a 29 gal. I first put fish in it about 6 weeks ago. (Community tank) Yesterday I noticed a snail in the tank. Went online and discoverd that the Clown Loach will eliminate a snail problem. Today I went to the fish store and bought one Clown.

After I got home, I went online and learned that the Clown Loach likes to be with others of his own kind. I really have a "full house" and can't really add any more fish. (I have 15 total in the tank. Guppies, Gouramis, Danios, Cory Cat, Pleco)

Will this new Clown Loach be "lonely"?
Is it OK to have only one Clown in the tank?
Is a 29g tank large enough?

Thanks for your help,
Gary
