Missing fish

I have a tank containing 5 clown loaches and 8 bleeding heart tetras. There were also 6 feeders in the tank that I was going to give to my gars. They have disappeared. I find it hard to imagine that the loaches are responsible. I know the tetras are aggressive but they aren't much bigger than the feeders were. Considering that the tetras will eventually reach a length of 3 to 4 inches do they pose any threat to my loaches? In 30 years of fishkeeping I have never kept any kind of tetras. Always preferred the big guys. Does anyone have any experience with these fish?
