Clown Loach compatability...

I decided on 3 two inch clown loaches for my 55 gallon because of my snail problem but I have one concern. I have a school of nine 1 inch cories and I was wondering if the clown loaches might attempt at eating or bullying the cories. Will they? Also... how long does it take for the three clown loaches to get too big for my tank?

My tank is also planted with hygrophila, wisteria, anarcharis, brazilian pennyworth, and three small swords and I was wondering if the loaches would harm the plants in any way.

Thanks
-Ram
