white bugs

Hello, I've been an avid reader of this forum for a while and the information I've aquired has been simply phenominal. My loaches are healthy, happy and active and I owe it all to the people on this forum.

I recently introduced a new plant (Amazon Sword)to my 65g and now I have begun to notice little white bugs all over the glass. They are extremely small and look almost like mini spider mites.

So, I was hoping someone could tell me if they are at all harmful to my fish and also if there is a way to get rid of them safely.

Thanks!
