I got spined! Ow!

I was netting 3 of the clowns to put into the 135 Gallon tank and one of them got "feisty". As I was lifting the loach out of the water (in the net with my hand holding the net shut) he flicked out his spines and stabbed me in the thumb!! I got the full spine buried into my thumb.

On the same note, the tank appears to be a huge success with its inhabitants! 2 of the ammano shrimp are heavily with eggs, and have molted.

I added my large (3.5") singapore shrimp today and within 5 minutes of adding him to the tank he molted in front of us! It was truly amazing to watch, such a delicate but vigorous procedure!

Lots of fun today.
