Need assistance

I noticed one of my loaches nose was turning black, and I know this is a sign of stress. I just turned off the lights, but I am having work done in my room, so my over head light is still on. I put in a blood worm cube, and my Head and Tail light tetras and grabbing the blood worms before they hit the ground.

Why could my loach be experiencing stress? Ammonia is 0, and nitrite is .5 because I added some fish.

What can I do to help out my loach??
