PLANTING QUESTION

When I set up my 60, I originally had plants, and they were doing well. I eventually got rid of them- went to a system where I hardly have to ever touch the tank- very little time.

In the near future, I would like to get a 120 and, if I have the time for maintenance, plant it.

I wanted to know from the experienced plant-people three things-

1) If you want a decent amount of plants, do you REALLY need a CO2 system?

2) I found what many books/sites said- you can have a planted tank with fewer fish, or a few plants will do well with many fish (max bio-load), but you can't have many plants with many fish. If this is not true, how do you get around this problem? Especially trying to stock a tank well when you are using a CO2 injection system?

3) What type of substrates are you using, and are yo
