EASY Ph ADJUSTMENTS

I have been planning to send in this trick- easy, but very nice!
My tank tends to "creep" on the Ph as time passes. After a cleaning, I adjust to 6.8 and leave it alone. After a few days, it "creeps" to 7.0, and might want to go higher. After many years of doing this, I know one thing for certain- tropicals do better in slightly acid water (6.8), and you will have less algae. So how to keep the tank at a nice, even 6.8?
I had experimented with Seachem Acid Balance, and found if I added 1/4 teaspoon (not very much!) every other day it kept the Ph balanced at an even 6.8. Another thing to "do"- measure, mix in RO water, and add to the tank. Something else that takes time!
