Clown loaches - Fussy eaters (mine are anyway)

I'd like to introduce a little more variety in my clown loaches diet, however they seem to be opposed to the idea :-)

My clowns have been raised primarily on Tetramin Pro flake (awesome stuff), wardley shrimp pellets (nasty, foul gravel easily), live mosquito larvae during the summer and Hikari Bloodworm (they love it).

They refuse to eat algae wafers (they will just decompose on the bottom), Brine shrimp are ignored, guppy fry are chased but never eaten, they ignore lettuce, zuccini (forgive my spelling), spinach.

Is their diet varied enough? I'm worried that they might be eating too much "fatty" food and not enough "roughage". I dunno, maybe I'm just being anal about this...

I was thinking about trying the Hikari Carnivore pellets or crab pellets, can anyone give me opinions on either? The crab pellets are EXCELLENT for shrimp as they contain extra calcium that helps exoskeleton formation.
