MOVING QUESTION

Appears we will be moving- about a 1 hour drive from here.

I know how to move the fish and equipment- no problem. The GRAVEL is the pain in the butt! I will either have to flush the hell out of it, then transport it as "new" and start a new biocycle, or move it "wet".

What I was wondering was this- If I vacuumed it really well, then packed it "wet" in a garbage-can, does anyone think the bacteria could survive 2-3 hours? (Packing/driving/setup in new tank).

If we go soon (possible) the temp could be kept at 75-90, but the problem is O2. Any ideas on this, or should I just do a slash/burn and really flush it all clean?

Cycling is no problem- I can "new cycle" my 60 with all the fish in the first day, no problem, it's in how you do it. But all the well-cultured gravel would be nice to move intact, an
