My clown likes watching me watching him!

My little Clown loach is always amusing me! If it's not sucking food out of a lava rock, or hiding in the leaves of an artifical green tiger lotus, it's always something. But now, it seems, he has become the only fish aware of me!

For almost every other fish I've had, none of them seemed aware I was watching them (unless I got close to the glass, then they'd zip away). But this little loach often swims up to the glass while I'm observing the fish, and swims there watching me for as long as I'm there! It's the neatest thing!
None of my danios, cherry barbs or otos seem to care. Has anyone else had a clown that like
