HELP! Sick Clown Loach

Posted By: Rachel

I have 2 clown loaches in a community aquarium with other fish types. Both were healthy and active. I used Melafix for 2 days to treat another type of fish for fin rot. My smaller clown loach is now very pale, almost white. He is upside down and it looks like he is "breathing" very rapidly. The Melafix instructions said that it was safe for loaches, but I'm having my doubts. I've cleaned out the tank, changing 50% of the water, and removed the fish I was treating for fin rot to a sick tank. What can I do to help my loach????? Thanks!!!!
