nocturnal loaches

I have nine clown loaches in a 90 gal tank. They started out four years ago in a 38 gal. with this artifical tree stump that they love. Of course the beloved trunk went in the 90 gal. My problem is that I never see them until the lights go out at ten in the evening. There is enough room lights to see them all come streaming out. It's really funny. They stick ther're little noses out the holes in the trunk waiting for that click. They seem fine. Eat OK and play. Don't want to take trunk out. It might traumatize them. Should I worry about them not coming out during the daytime. cee
