Sick loach

I have a sick Botia Striata and need some help diagnosing its illness so that I can treat it. Here are the symptoms; poor colouration, emaciated, lethargic and dulled responsiveness, not feeding as far as I can see, trouble maintaining balance and segregates itself away from the others. I have pictures that I can email but no website to post them on. Iíve had it in quarantine for two weeks now since I purchased it along with three others. The others donít seem to be showing any sings of illness while this one has been getting worse. A friend of mine who has loaches thinks itís an internal parasite.

I live in the Toronto area so I hope someone knows of a locally available remedy. Thanks for the help.
