Clown loach behavior

Hi I got 4 Clown Loaches about 6 weeks ago. They really get on well with my Green Tiger Barbs but the biggest loach swims up to the Barbs and hovers infront of them and lets them nibble at him. He really seems to love it, but I'm a bit worried that he may have a parasite problem and is using the Barbs to scratch! (I've seen him scratch a few times)He has one small pale lump on his side, I'm pretty sure it's not white spot (ich) but am worried that it may be a fungal infection from a Barb bite or some sort of parasite.
Also one of my Loaches seems to be displaying. I don't know whether its aggressiveness or breeding behaviour. His black bits fade to a milky white and and he raises his dorsal fin and displays to the other Loaches. His colour returns as soon as he finishes. Is this normal?
TIA,
Sally
