Large Tank Considerations

I've been debating on what would make a better 200 gal tank (96X24X20)? Glass or plastic? Are there any owners (or previous owners) of plastic tanks (Plexiglas, etc.) and glass tanks out there that have an opinion?

Not to discourage others from contributing their thoughts, but I think actually owning both types of tanks would allow you to compare, and not just based upon opinions you've heard.

The store that I *eventually* want to purchase my big tank from carries both Oceanic glass tanks and Tenecor plastic tanks. They recently had an older plastic tank "blow out," (not a Tenecor) and they don't like the "scratch factor." Tenecor has a lifetime guarantee against
