Clown Loaches scratching themselves!

Dear All!
I have a 30 Gallon Tank with 8 apparently healthy Clown Loaches. They eat a regular diet of Frozen Red Worms and Live Black Worms. I alternate these worms every other night and these Clowns eat wonderfully! My question is that two seem to be scratching themselves on the slate in the Tank. They don't do this often, but I notice it and it worries me! I have inspected them closely and there is not a spec of Ick on any of them! Two of the eight, I have had for eight months and the other for four months. Any clues or am I just being over protective? Thanks in advance for answers! Doug
