New Clowns

Well, I was my lfs (mom & pop) about a week ago and walked my the tanks that hold the clown loaches. They usually have a decent selectin of of loaches in the 1-4 inch sizes. Prices run from $6-$25. I have ocassionally bought one in the mid range since I haven't aways had much luck with the smallest ones. They usually look too skinny.

So, I'm walking by the 40 gallon tank with the smallest ones (1- 1.5 in) and they all had the fattest bellies. I asked the clerk want they had just fed them and the reply was blood worms. They were absolutely too good to pass up. I bought four and some frozen blood worms. After a week, they were all doing well (no ick)... so I went back for more from the same group. I brought the second group of four home yesterday and they are doing well and also seem to be eating.
