Reflection on new Botias...

Hi all,
I guess my predictions came true. If some of you may recall from last year, I said that there are numerous species of Botia yet to be discovered, as these genus is incredibly diverse. Well, over the past 6-8 months or so, there have been at least 2 new species of Botia identified, and there is no doubt in my mind that there are infinite other species of this wonderful genus.
It seems as though the new Botias have been located across Burma, Thailand and surrounding regions, signifying that this may be a new hot spot for new species.
The 2 new species have been the "Botia sp. Tenasserim," which was pictured here during the summer, and is in the Loach species
