Modesta observation...

Another thing that I observed yesterday and that is not seen too often, ime, anyway...I was watching one of my larger modesta, at the time sticking her head out of a bogwood "cave" and kind of snuggled up with and jostling for position with a helodes tankmate, and she just kind of yawned and, casually, fully extended her suborbital spines seemingly for no particular reason (unless, maybe, to impress the helodes). Quite impressive, to ME, as they appeared to be approximately a good .25"/6mm long each.

Alas, don't think that I will be able to oblige with a pic, this time, as I doubt that she will cooperate. Nice to have the leisure to just watch the loaches, once in a while, though, as t
