Question for you DIY Guys

Ok, so its time to upgrade the lights in the 135 gallon tank (finally, I've only been talking about this for how many months? sheesh). I've decided (after a lot of research and carefull consideration) that I will be using VHO Bulbs. There are several reasons;

1.) Cost, this is a very cheap setup initially, and the bulbs are very inexpensive per watt ($25 for a 160 watt bulb)

2.) Heat, these bulbs are much cooler then Compact Flourescent or Metal Halide

3.) Coverage, having a full 6 foot bulb will make the light distribution nice and even

4.) Availability, Compact Flourescent products in Canada are a rare commodity, there simply isnt enough viable competition to make this a worthwhile investment yet (I'm limited to a very slim selection of expensive products)

I'm planning on using Fulham Workhorse 7 ballasts to drive the bulbs, but I have never built my own lighting assembly and I dont know where to begin.

Just looking for pointers more then anything....
