how to treat Clown Loach scratches??

While doing a routine water change yesterday, I noticed some pretty bad scrathes on both sides of one of my clowns. His color is great, he is active, eating, seems fine...no other fish are bothering him either(picking, etc).. But it looks like he possiblyhad wedged himself into a place way to small & got the scratches like that.. One side is not bad at all, the other side has a bloddy spot on it. Should I give it a few days as along as he still seems fine before trying to treat?? Or is there something I can do to help the wounds heal now?? Any advice would be appreciated..

Regina
