Help - My Clown Loaches fins are rotting off

Dear Forum,

I've got 3 wonderful Clown Loaches that I've had for 8 months with not a sign of trouble. They have been growing like weeds and eating everything in sight. Well, they are still eating up a storm but the dorsil fin is starting to erode and the tail fins are starting to mis-shape about a week or two ago. I've purchased some Maracyn tablets that say they "contain 200mg erythromycin activity." The Loaches are in a 20 gallon tank with a few Lemon Tetras and a Pleco. I was going to pull the carbon from the filter and begin treatment but I've got alot of concern over what the correct dose should be. I've heard that some medications should be reduced to 1/2 strength due to the sensitive nature of t
