I have a 58 gallon freshwater tank. I have 3 platys, 4 tetras, 2 neons, 1 rainbow, 2 common plecos about 3 inches long. I would like to add clown loachs. Would I need to give the plecos away? I would also eventually like to get other species of loachs. Also my water is very hard and high ph (8.2) but I now have a water softener that uses salt. Would the loaches like the soft water?
