Ich, How long?

How long after treating with coppersafe should I expect to see ich spots on my loaches? I started treatment 5 days ago and most of the fish look better, except for the loaches... They seem okay, swimming around and eating... But they still have the spots... Today were doing a 1/3 water change, then puttting in a little more coppersafe. Thanks for any help you can give. (5 years of loaches, no problems, 1 sick $2.00 neon and...)
