A picture worths a thousand words? (Please help!!)

I managed to take some pictures of my sick clown loach. I hope this will make more sense and someone can ID this disease.

You can see the concaved area on the head region (it occurs on both sides and it actually looks worse than the picture shows). The lateral line (don't know if that's the correct name or not) looks black and there's something stuck on it. I've just noticed the line itself is actually protruding by at least 1mm.

The concaved head was the first sign that appeared when my first victim died.

Update: both remaining clown loaches have come out of hiding but have lost all interest in food (that they used to just devour) except an occasional bloodworm or two. The smaller loach have started to develop the symptoms of the older one although they are less s
