Clowns with heartbreak???

Has anyone experienced fish (particularly clowns) that die for no apparent reason straight after one another?

I've had 2 cases recently in 2 separate tanks were the whole tank's been healthy and no sooner has a fish died, another the same age and from the same species does so too. None of the other fish (including others of the same species) seem affected in any way?

Could it be down to shock as in both cases the 2 have grown up together since they were very small?

Thanks,

Jay
