Melafix and salt update

As you may or may not recall, I recently had an outbreak of Columnaris in my tank. After some research here and elsewhere, I elected to treat with aquarium salt at low levels (1 tablespoon per 10 gallons) and full strength (5 ml per 10 gallon) Melafix.

Within the first two days of treatment, the infection had spread to two other fish. The next day, all fish had cleared up. It was miraculous. They still looked a little beat up, but it had cleared up and over the next three days, they got better and better until, last night, you'd have to be very, very picky to notice any difference between them and the ones who had never been affected.

It is a relief, for sure, and a testimonial for Melafix-and-
