my loaches so far

i have only had this tank set up fro a few months, my first with loaches, and here is what has happened with them... btw i have two dwarf gouramis, 3 botia angeligus, 2 hillstreams (anyone heard em called stingray plecos?), and 3 black skirts in a 29 gallon tank w/ good filtration.

The hillstreams, one continuing to grow in size (3 in.) the other, darker in color staying 1.5 in. the big one is definitely dominant over the smaller one chasing him off whatever they share (glass, wood, rock, etc.) The botias are doing fine as well. the alpha is about 3 in. and the ohters are 2 in. They are always together. I had a peice of driftwood in there that they would hide in, and the alpha would chase the others out. I took it out though, because i never saw the fish. They are happy with their slate caves. Also, everytime i fill the water up fairly high, the alpha j
