Normal loach behavior, or sick loack

Hi guys, I've read a lot about people getting worried about their loaches 'cause they're acting funny and so many times it's just "normal loach" behavior. Well, now I'm worried about one of mine. We got two clowns about a month ago to clean out the snails in our tank, which they did an amazing job. They were the same size and now one's fat and the other thin. The thin one was swimming sideways next to the glass like he was about to go belly up. Then I found him on the bottom really belly up with the other loach 'sniffing' at him. But when I approached the tank he jumped up and took off. I tried catching him to put him in a net holder to watch for
