Adventures in Ich

Just over a week ago, two of my eight clowns presented with Ich. The next day I added one drop of the old Maracide per gallon, based mostly on the glowing recommendations it received on this board, confident that I'd beat it. Well, over a week later, and the Ich has spread to four other clowns (six total) and two bala sharks, though it is not on my angelicus or my yoyos or my gourami or my bristlenose or my SAEs or my otos. But on the clowns that have it, it has, throughout the treatment process, flourished, and they look to be covered. Oddly, they are all feeding enthusiastically, and, though flashing, do not seem especially uncomfortable.

At any rate, my post relates to the fact that the Ich is not going away. I underrstand that it'll get worse before it gets better, but is this time frame acceptable
