Got Sids....FINALLY!!!!!! *PIC*

After two years of struggling to get Botia sidthimunki, we finally got a hold of a group of 15! We got them through Mr. FishyFishy in California. At only $7.50 USD each, the price was awesome! They're about 1.25" - 1.5" TL.

They will ship to Canada, but they claim it's very expensive to do. They said we'd have to pay $100 for the Fish and Game license and $250 for a Vet Inspection fee, as well as additional freight cost. We were urged to have it FedEx shipped overnight to either a friend in the states, or to a FedEx office with pickup near the border. They had done so with at least a dozen Canadian customers before this way, and all there is to pay crossing the border back into Canada with them is the GST! We had them shipped to a FedEx office in Traverse City, Michigan. Driving 15 hours straight there and back, all went well, other than a half hour inspection/ID check at the border crossing over into the states.

They still have some more sids if you're trying to get them. We found that they were great to deal with...a little slow in responding at times as they're apparantly swamped lately, but nevertheless were quite helpful in making this deal work. You can e-mail them at MrFishyFishy@aol.com
