Blackhawk Down

Well actually the Stealth Bomber, AKA our Adonis Pleco.

I was water-changing the 125 this afternoon after we returned home from some other chores. The girls reported hearing a loud splashing from the tank earlier, which I didn't bother checking on because that's not that uncommon. We have a Pike Cichlid and a big Satanoperca in there and occasionally, they'll splash about a bit if they're getting "into it" with one another.

Anyhow, I'm pumping out water and doing some maintenance when I suddenly see the nearly 9 inch long fish laying dead on a log near the surface of the tank. It looked only recently dead...no smell.

I'm wondering if the splashing was the fish having some sort of seizure or something
